Chopin 200
March 1, 2010 at 5:00pm
Winter Garden of the World Financial Center
200 Liberty Street, New York, NY
I will be playing an hour of Chopin at 5pm on Monday, March 1 at the Winter Garden of the World Financial Center. This will be part of the CHOPIN 200 Bicentennial Festival, a weeklong series of performances celebrating Chopin's 200th birthday. I would like to invite you to come down to the Winter Garden to check out the event! Five pianos will be set up in different parts of the World Financial Center, and a large number of professional and student pianists will perform Chopin all afternoon, 5 days in a row. There will also be a featured soloist each evening.
I will be playing in the Winter Garden, under the palm trees, on the Shigeru Kawai piano.
Details of this event can be found here: http://www.artsworldfinancialcenter.com/cgi-bin/Go.cgi?q_id=1010
Hope to see you there!
